You only live once and you only screw up once in a small town. The cops have a good memory unless you have proof of a misdeed. :OhNo; :bang:

Cc, are you committed to the detachable keyboard? Makes a big difference in price. 2GB of RAM for Windows will bring you to your knees pretty quickly. Why Windows anyhow? (Perhaps I missed this)

Bingo. Just forget the tablet and get a touchscreen laptop. That's what i did for the wife and she loves it.

Too bad the model I bought is no longer available. They sold out when they were $250 for Black Friday. Only thing that bogs it down a little it's the fact that it has integrated graphics. It does play Sims 4, even though it theoretically shouldn't.

Buy it and if it is a POS sell it to me cheaply. :ahha: I could always use a tablet that has windows on it. :lolfall:

I have had iphonies and windows phones. But why live inside their limited box of outdated tricks when I can have the stuff today that they won't add for another 3-5 years

Part of the reason. Computers are going by the way side when most things that people use them for can currently be done on an Android phone or tablet.

ddog...
I too like the Asus products, again I base my opinions on repairs I have seen.
Yes Asus makes great systems, as do the other manufacture's do as well. However you nailed when you said,
How you care for your electronics is paramount. If you abuse them, they won't last long. That includes hastily plugging in the charger, constantly recharging the battery when it doesn't need it and toying with things like overclocking and undervolting if you don't know enough about it.
I said it too... if your toddler is using your tablet as a stomp pad, don't expect much life out of the product, no matter the manufacturer.

That's why we buy them their own kiddy electronics.

Now you know just as well as I do... Granpa's tablet has more shiny buttons than their own. :OhNo;

It is illegal in some countries due to brain malfunction caused by the signels in WiFi and cell phones
