Designer wrote:When you do, may I suggest you take in another "attraction" when you are up there. It is called the Tunnel Of Trees on the north side of Little Traverse Bay.
I found it was worth the time.

Yes I did and it sounds like it would be worth the trip. I'm not so sure it would be something I would like to do late in the year to see the changing of the colors of the leaves. Especially that far up north as I'm not an Eskimo and I hate the cold especially on the bike..Designer wrote:Now that we have finalized that indeed riding across a bridge as being different than riding the same distance over a road that's land based.
Hey BlackToptravlr!,......When you go up to visit Yooper, did you take note of this?

It's very much like riding on a road, I've never had a problem, long bridges, short bridges, grated bridges, and one 50 inches wide meant for ATV's whatever. Anyone afraid of bridges stay home or take a different route. I've had 5 or 6 visitors up here from downstate, both Wisconsin and Michigan. None have ever had a problem on the Mac bridge. WTF is the matter with you folks?Tbeck wrote:Haven't decided yet where we are going this Friday through Sunday, maybe we will go ride a bridge since it's like riding a road
