Iffy....they may just turn brown and fall off. Dryish weather lately, but if you've a ride planned, then go....Something about WV makes it worth a trip any old time. Of course, it really is the Western part of Virginia, so it makes sense. Speaking of Virginia, we're the same, pretty blah. But splotches of color here and there.

I think we'll just head east on 6 tomorrow and head north or south at some point and see where we end up.
We were going to go cross a bridge but that would mean lot's of interstate. That's alright in summer but not fall.
Than we thought skyline or BRP, but that would be consistent riding without time to take anything in.
We found some great road's near Elkins WV, but we did that just a couple months ago.
So if we head east on 6 we can go north into NY, CT, Mass. Or we can turn south towards the Poconos, State college, Getty, etc...

jonnyc, we like VA and WV, but like getting lost and riding new places. It makes the ride's more interesting

We rode hundreds of miles of some great PA back roads over 3 days. Only one very short, maybe 15 miles that weren't pristine.
Leaves were patchy in some places but at peak color in others. We saw some deer, a nice young black bear, and a small herd of elk during our travels.
Great road's, hotels, weather and of course company.
