None of the above, though some of that may pass for enlightment for some people for a span of time, an altered reality hardly qualifies, trust me.
True enlightenment doesn't wear off with time. Only people who place others above themselves are enlightened. A good rule is; "If you think you are, then you ain't."
By following Christ, I believe it is possible to become enlightened. I make no claims to be anywhere near enlightened. I know just enough to know I know very little.

It is when you know about the darkness, and choose not to follow anyone or anything into that darkness.
Kinda sorta almost somewhat like knowing right from wrong, and choosing to do what is right.
