First Ride of the Season

Post by rocksandhammers »

Finally, for the first time since November I was able to get the S50 out and ride a little. Finally finished putting it back together from the winter maintenance and improvements this morning. New fork springs felt great. Carbs seemed pretty synced up. Engine sounded good.

Only got in 20 miles or so since it was in the 40s, a little rainy and super windy, but it was a good 20 miles. Despite the current state of affairs my head felt clearer just with the twist of the throttle. Looking forward to many more miles this summer.

Yup, [emoji106] As they say,..."Knees In The Breeze".... works WONDERS.

I read somewhere a Wisdom I keep. It goes like this..."sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas to set the world right again" . [emoji2]

And sometimes three thousand miles is not enough.
“Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury…
Signifying nothing”

Signifying monkey, stay up in your tree. Always lying and signifying, but you better not monkey with me.

For many years I rode 40 miles each way to work. No matter how bad of a day I had at work I was always good when I got home. Even in San Diego County traffic, my attitude improved.
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.
