TWO CHAPTER RIDE

Last Sunday two HOG Chapters met at the Coushatta casino in Kinder, La for a ride to Avery Island to visit and tour the Tabasco pepper plant on the island itself.
The 5 Points Chapter from Victoria Texas whom rode down Saturday and our local HOG Chapter got together at 830 Sunday morning and after introductions and a pre ride meeting followed by a short prayer we departed the casino for the 105 mile ride to Avery Island..one pit stop at 54 miles at the Tiger Mart in Lake Arthur,La and we were on our way.
2 1/2 hours later we arrived safe and sound..
Yours truly led the ride and no one got lost but since it was over 5 years since we rode there i took the usual route that we always took "Wrong Move"
the shortcut that I led them down was a complete mess, pot holes everywhere and it had rained over 3 inches the night before..well you can only guess the rest of the story..I was beat down from the guys that park their bikes in a garage that their bikes were getting filthy..
All in all they enjoyed the ride..

Since I am the Communications Officer for our club, I'm the person the 5 Points Chapter gets in touch with to coordinate the ride,
This is the couple who contacts me when they are headed tour way and where they will be staying.
