Great looking bike, could use a little more of the trailer in the frame. [emoji2] Looks like you were in a real nice place when you took that. Maybe when you get some time you could do a few more pictures of them both. I know from your post on the board you can take some spectacular pictures.

Re: My bike and camper
Here is a picture of the back and entry to the camper. Front has a slider window with screen.
Front...
I built it myself. I wanted something that was more than tent but inexpensive. Looked around at teardrop campers but most were heavy. I was brainstorming with a friend and mentioned all I needed was place for me to slide into like the Japan business hotels. The friend just happen to have a industrial 36" metal culvert. All I needed was 6' since I am so short.
So I bought a small used jet ski trailer and painted both the tube and trailer. I also had metal ends welded with door and window cut out. I found a rv dealer who had some spare doors and window from when they actually built them on site. I put carpet around the inside. Had spare loveseat cushions for comfortable bed. Several years ago my girls bought me twin Harley sheets. I found cloth material with motorcycle pattern for curtains.

That's really nice, Janie & I really like what you did with the camper. Really great job of thinking outside the box (literally). Bet you sleep as sound as a bug in a rug. We are thinking of buying either a can am or trike sometime in the next 5 years and your trailer is a real inspiration for times we don't want to take the motorhome or just go cruise with the bike for a few days.

Diana did a fantastic job with her trailer. I'd bet, one day, it appears in a cycle rag!

Re: My bike and camper
I had hoped to go with it last year more but with what had happened in my Life during 2014 was not a good year. I did spend two nights in it and it was just great for a place to sleep. Had electric hookup when I met my brother in Jefferson City, MO so I took a elec cord hook to a poor man's air and fan and slept like a baby. Double barrel 410 edition coming soon lol.
Could add some small storage tubes down below painted to look like 410 shells. Just a thought. But great job PCC

Re: My bike and camper
I have two ammo boxes that I bought at the Surplus in Springfield I think for $22 each. I was going to put on my Intruder at one time. Now thinking I might attach to the camper but still debating if I want the weight. Some plastic tubes looking like shell might be lighter.Jolsen wrote:Double barrel 410 edition coming soon lol.

Re: My bike and camper
Give you room for more clothes or souvenirs. Maybe a stove or extension cord for a small heater or fan. Tons of things you could keep in them.

Re: My bike and camper
You did good Diana. I really like that. She has a knack for thinking outside the box. Since I have the smaller 800 I will have to think of something lighter, but one that is big enough for me to sleep in and have room to store stuff. I do wish I had found a jet ski trailer instead of having to use a HF trailer.
