Hello folks! Our Michigan group will be riding THIS weekend! Been busy, so not checking in as I should, but keeping up with the majority of the group on Facebook.

I'll be leaving Warren around 1pm Friday with my Brother Ron and his girlfriend Andrea to head up to Saginaw where we'll be meeting up with Goshivan at the Flying J truck stop at the exit off I75 where 81 crosses just South of the Zilwaukee bridge. Then we'll all head up to Alpena. Haven't heard if anyone else will be joining us on the way there, but any are welcome!

So how did it come unhooked? One of our riders wondered if you were pulling with a new (er) Chevy Truck because they have had a rash of factory hitch failures.

that was on the 1500's mine is a K2500 and had the hitch looked at and no problem with the welds. I wish I knew why it came off...was a scary minute, I thought the truck was going to flip...

Camper is in a repair facility in wayland MI

it is in Wayland MI got the estimate yesterday, with tow , just few dollars shy of $5,000

I figured to go up there, get the camper and find a motel for the night ....once I hit the road I was feeling fine...made for a 20 hour day,,,then watched big brother with my wife..another 1 1/2 hours. all I had was coffee and a bag of cheeto's for protein I got one of those pickled hot mama sausage..
