I removed the rusted old shocks on my 86 Intruder. The bushings literally started to crumble. I have a set of shocksfrom another project (ought new and hardly used) which would woks but I need bushings I don't see a separate part # from Suzuki for shock bushings. Any help would be appreciated.
Thx

Re: Shock absorber bushings.
Shock bushings, like toothbrush bristles are not sold separately, they are vulcanized to the shock.
Shocks, tires, batteries, etc, wear out and should be replaced every 34 years.

Re: Shock absorber bushings.
The lower left crumbled. I got some new ones coming. I found that aftermarket bushings can be sourced. Hagon, Emgo and a few others. The shocks I am using were on another project for less than 1000 miles. They work well and are just a tad longer. I never said I was reusing the shocks. I needed bushings for the replacements. The lower left stuck to the mount and came out of the shock. If I keep the bike, I will probably install Hagons.
