The Conclusions he makes about the Motor's Condition in his,.."test"...are all based on the ASS-umption that the Oil Pressure Sensor is functioning correctly.
My point is that you could have a totally well-functioning motor and STILL get the Oil Light results he speaks of simply because the Oil Pressure Sensor is malfunctioning. [space]Thus, his..."test".... really only tests the Oil Pressure Sensor.

With the sender out install a gauge and check engine pressure Check bleed off Replace sender
Start engine
Light turns off Test over

If you watching for Bleed off The light wont tell you much Use a gauge

When the idiot light is on it Only lets you know when the engine no longer has the minimum oil pressure recommended for safe operation. Just because the light comes on dosnt mean you have no pressure Just that you no lounger have the recommended safe pressure for operation
