Previous owner removed all the turn signals (I'm sure the bike had fallen a few times) so I've been wanting to replace them and was wondering if anyone could recommend some aftermarket solutions (don't really like the look of the stockers).
I've seen many on Revzilla and was wondering which style would be easiest to fit in the stock locations, wiring is still all there.

Easiest to fit would be ones with the same sort of stalk (14 or 17mm nut).
If you go LED or lower wattage bulbs you will also need a no load flasher relay.
Other than that it's whatever you like the look of.

Kuryakyn bullets worked well for me. Hillsy hit it, you'll need and electronic flasher. You will also need the diode fix.

I ordered a couple sets of these
Amber for the front
And a couple sets of these
Red for the rear(These will give me tail lights and turn
And for front mounting options
A couple of these for mounting on the forks
And a couple of these for mounting on the bars
Chrome looks good for now not sure how it will hold up over time

Re: Turn signal suggestions for '91 Intruder
Diode fix.
The LEDs will all blink by cross talking through the turn signal light in the center cluster. There are diodes put in circuit to stop this, if my memory serves me well.
There were schematics on the purple board, but it's been many years since I did mine and don't remember. I know I have 2 in the headlight bucket.
Sorry I can't help more on that.
I had found a blinker unit that was the exact size as the stock one but had to swap 2 pins in the plug. This kept me from having to find a place for one of the generic round ones.
ETA
The diode fix was not needed as the model years progressed, I seem to remember but I'm pretty sure a 91 needs them.
I hope Someone chimes in to clarify this, the computer I have all this stuff on its down right now.

Did you find a flasher relay compatible with the 2003 VS800? I’m having the hyperflash issue and need to fix it to pass inspection. Can’t find the location of the relay on my bike or a replacement online though.Travlin wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 2:56 pmDiode fix.

Many auto part stores and amazon have the relays you need.
You want a "2 pin electronic flasher relay". Google that.
The relay is under the left side cover. square (rectangular) not round, next to the fuel pump.
