well... I bought a new cable for my trudy's accelerator... but Trudy has high handlebars... and the cable is short... how do I find a longer cable for high handlebars?

I normally use bicycle brake cables for throttle cables. You have to make them up your self of course but you can use all the fittings off your existing throttle cable so you are only using the bicycle cable and sheathing. You can buy screw on cable ends to make it easier, otherwise you can solder the ends on.

but what was there before looked like a factory piece, aren't there longer ready-made cables? (I'm in the Dominican Republic... I don't know if I can find the terminals with screws... to fix what I have now they've redone the terminal with tin)

If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.
