According to the info I gathered over the years & on my site; the VS1400 produces 300 watts of powerDrAlloway wrote:stock vs1400 generates 320 watts at regular speeds
so, simply add up what you have on your bike
and
see how much you have left over for additional goodies
You have to watch these; a member of a Valkyrie forum tried one, and blistered his headlamp bucket from heat. It took a few months for him to notice and report back.Night_Wolf wrote: Switch out the stock headlight bulb with this & same a minimum 15 - 20 watts

Fan must of not being working for it to build up heat like that.WintrSol wrote:You have to watch these; a member of a Valkyrie forum tried one, and blistered his headlamp bucket from heat. The fan worked, there was just not a large enough opening for the hot air to escape, so the fan just kept circulating hotter and hotter air. If the bucket is metal, it will release some of the heat, but plastic ones, not so much. The Valkyrie has a much larger bucket than the Intruders, so the Intruder headlamp may overheat sooner.Blaine wrote:Fan must of not being working for it to build up heat like that.WintrSol wrote:You have to watch these; a member of a Valkyrie forum tried one, and blistered his headlamp bucket from heat.
