I have a VS800 GLP I was wondering what if anything the letters stand for?
I was hoping on this board of vast Intruder knowledge there would some answer or reason.

I found this on Yahoo answers. I can't verify it's correct but it sounds right.

It's just a prefix to identify the style of bike.
V - vertical twin engine
S - Intruder series
