No religion = less hate?

Now I know that the believers are going to have something to say about if there wasn't a God then what's the point or Something else. Can we look beyond that for a moment and just think about religious views never being presented in our lives and answer the simple question?

Would there be less hate in the world without religion and religious beliefs? What say ye?

It's a simple yea or nay question.

Yes, but that doesn't mean I don't believe in God just annoyed that men feel they have to convince each other their's is the only "true" version.

Sadly, I feel there is no true version of any religion. They are all various different guidelines about how to live your life, basically.

No, it isn't that simple. I was raised steeped in religion. In fact went through the Catholic school system from k thru 16. I never hated anyone.

On the other hand, for most of my adult life I've been more or less irreligious. Still don't hate anyone.

So it's irrelevant to me, but I'm sure others will have differing opinions.
