As I recall...your Board Name was a composite of yours and your wife's names...is it not?

Welcome back. I do remember that handle. I was Paul on the old board but have been old a long time. See you are a wealthy man with a beamer!

Oh my! I didn't know she had passed! [space] I am sorry if my mentioning this brought up any sad things.Gradona wrote:Yes, Designer, Gra for Grant and Dona for Donna. Sadly Donna has been gone 10 years now but she is still a big part of me.
I meant no harm....I was just recalling past conversations on the Purple Board with you and how you included her in your Board Name.
I thought it was neat! [emoji106]

Re: New Here
Seems like the 1400 starts hard, And you need a lot of cranking amps on a battery,.Also

Re: New Here
Below 30 starts were main reason I traded my 1400. Many times took my Harley with 20-50 oil because the 1400 with 10-40 would not start.Lots will give you ways to help but the Suzuki rep gave up on mine under warranty after they never got it to start 20 or below if out all night. Lots will tell you they have one that starts any time? Got more calls from people with a 1400 telling me they need help getting it to start in the 30s. Rolling it back in gear till won't move then in netural seemed to help a little. Unlike my old Virago they do not roll start good at all.
