A song you've probably heard over and over but let me sing it one more time.
I recently picked up this 99 intruder 1400 that was only running on one cylinder. The bike has almost 7k miles so it's still has plenty of life. The previous owner cut the airboxes out with pod filters and V&h exhaust. When rebuilding the carbs I found the float hight were easy off and the front was jetted richer then the rear and fauling the plug.
I put the float hight to factory specs on both and ordered a 6 sigma jet kit and put everything to their recommended settings. Bike ran really good right off the bat except under full throttle it would bog in higher rpm. Low rpm wot it pulled great, its only high rpm that it just kinda burbles and feels like it falls flat on power.
So I'm just not sure what direction to go. I think the needle is too rich or the mains are too rich or does that sound lean?

Standard size jets or did you go larger?
As it is the easiest thing to do - try raising the slide needles and see if this helps.

How did you sink the carbs?Sammittrue wrote: âThu May 13, 2021 6:09 pmBike ran really good right off the bat except under full throttle it would bog in higher rpm. Low rpm wot it pulled great, its only high rpm that it just kinda burbles and feels like it falls flat on power.

Sounds like you may be running out of fuel
Check your fuel pump volume and flow

It's also pretty easy to kink a fuel line which can limit / stop fuel flow.

They might be Keihin jets.
I used them in the Mikuni Dual throat Side mounted Carb and their Jet numbers for the same ID were higher than Dyno Jet's were that I used in my other Chopper..
