Good choice Tom, Pirellis are damn good tires I put them on my BOLT when I had it and they were much better than stock.

Is it too much to ask how much they were and what sizes your gonna receive?

This will be the second set of them I run out on the C90. They are meaty and soft, and don't last more than 10k mi. But, they handle great.Suzuki Johnny wrote:About the only brand of tires I haven't used before....hope you get great service with them Tom.....

Re: Exciting News!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like a fun trip coming up so I hope they give you many safe happy miles. My 800 needs new tires front and back. So it is time to park it till I can come up with the money for a new Shinko 712 Front Tire 100/90H-19/Blackwall for $50 and a Dark Side (Car Tire) Nexen 165/80R15 for the rear at around $63.

Re: Exciting News!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got 17,000 miles out of them on my C50....I am guilty of being the kind of person who continuously tries different tires looking for something better....The only tire I have EVER repeat purchased are Pirelli MT66....To me they have the perfect blend of price/quality....I tried a set of Shinko's on my sporty due to great pricing and although I like the price and grip, the longevity is subpar, wear is very uneven, and at just over 5000 miles are beginning to develop a high speed bounce...So my next set for the sporty will be MT66 (bike should be at around 21,000 miles and should be around October if I can swing the money)....Going back to what I feel are tried and true, high quality, longer lasting, reasonably priced tires..........I will likely be done with the shopping around after that......... Re: Exciting News!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have them on both of my MCs. I like them a lot. Better than the tires I had, although, not a fair comparison because the tires I replaced were really too old to ride on.

I'm cheap so I buy the cheap shinko front and car tire for the rear.
