Re: Intruder 900
Some dude took an 800, bored it out from 83mm to 85 mm, fitted Yammi 900 pistons with reworked crowns upping compression, reworked the valves and ported the heads. No other real specs just to say that it's a real fast little bitch.

He used Kawasaki 750 pistons, custom cut cams, and pod filters. The new jet sizes are ridiculous too. I bet it does run like a raped ape. Did you see the wheelie pic?Lechy wrote:Some dude took an 800, bored it out from 83mm to 85 mm, fitted Yammi 900 pistons with reworked crowns upping compression, reworked the valves and ported the heads. Re: Intruder 900
Oops on the 900. I read it about a week ago.
he has taken 1mm overall off the sleeve and raised the compression. I would wonder if the sleeve could accommodate this under hard riding conditions.

Nope - have to have a Failbook account and log in. Some of us don't want to be another commodity to be sold by an unscrupulous corporation.Blaine wrote:Page should open automatically when you click on the link...WintrSol wrote:So, what's the gist for those of us that can't open the page?
As far as the 900 goes, cool, but I thought my 800 was impressive enough, without shortening its life that way.
