Hey,
I tried to get my 800 inspected and failed on the front turn signal test as when I click the left or right turn signal, the opposite (although significantly fainter) still flashes. I was hoping someone on here knows how to fix it? Also I'm pretty sure it's been doing it for years but just had an inspector with good eyes this time around.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Turn signal question
Sounds like your wires could be supplying power to the opposite side. Open the headlight bucket and look for loose or bare wires, all wires for the headlight and turn signals are jammed inside. So it is easy for the wires to become loose and cross connect.

Re: Turn signal question
Most times that indicates a bad ground.

Re: Turn signal question
Grandpa C, I will absolutely check that out.
And Navigator, my ground is definitely not ideal as the part that connects to the battery is a c instead of an o, this might be a good excuse to attempt to fix that.

That's probably the culprit.

Re: Turn signal question
I had that exact problem on my girlfriends Virago and it was the ground. Without a ground, the alternate path for electricity to follow is through the other side signal.
