I just rebuilt my clutch master cylinder and cannot get it to bleed. no fluid will flow thru the bleeder valve and the fluid level in the master cylinder does not go down. any advise. could the slave cylinder be clogged? bike is an 87 vs700

You will need to remove the bleeder completely to see if it is blocked, the slave does tend to get full of nasty gunk.

Unscrew the valve and poke the crap out of the holes.

took out the bleeder valve and cleaned it, no blockage, still wont bleed. think I will take the slave off and rebuild it too.

With the bleeder out jam a wire into the threaded hole in the slave cylinder, the blockage is usually behind the bleed screw.
