I'm having trouble finding a front rim for a 93 800, or actually any 800 of that model that will fit. What are the odds that another suzuki rim would fit? Or say a 2003 intruder rim? I've seen two of those.

Your '93 likely has a 21" front rim. They are hard to find and expensive if you do.
Later years used a 19" rim. They are totally interchangeable because the circumference is very close between the two.
Any year VS800 rim will work, The VS1400 also used the same 19" rim.
Early 700's had a "snowflake" mag, also rare, that you can run tubeless....with that wheel you would need a different rotor, you also have to flip the wheel around and mount the tire backwards because they had the rotor on the other side.
