93 VS800 vs 97 VZ800

Is there a significant difference between the VS 800 and the VZ800 (93 vs 97 as well). Are many parts interchangeable?

Two totally different bikes, not the same motor or frame.
The only thing the same is the displacement is (approx.) 800 cc.
The only interchangeable items are bulbs and fluids. [emoji2]
