Hot water for winter? You betcha! Hot tea. Chicken soup. Hot bath. Hot water bottle. Hot toddies made from rum, lemon, honey, and hot water! My elder body loves hot water for winter.
As for motorcycle? Around here? Tell ya what. Get some hot water, about a gallon boiled up real good, pour it on a paved surface, see how quick it turns to black ice.

Cold attracts heat but heat is given off to cold (simple rule), basic refrigeration. That's why your feet freeze when standing still in winter

Who cares? I wasn’t comparing hot to cold and which freezes first! I’m just pointing out that hot water means nada around here as far as riding goes for a couple more months. Hot water is the topic but if you wanna pour cold water on the pavement that’s cool with me. Buncha dang picayune brainiacs.navigator wrote:Hell yea, hot water freezes faster than cold water.

Since cold is the absence of heat, is heat the absence of cold?
A hot water vest would probably keep a person warm for quite a while. Keep in mind a wetsuit keeps a person warm by heating a layer of water with body heat.

I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.
