Checking In
Been swamped lately, haven't had much time for checking in. Reading through the board looks like everyone's still kicking!
Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving.
I'll be looking around & getting some posting done the next few days while I'm off. Yes, some of you might consider that a warning!

Re: Checking In
Got a new position at work. It's taking up a huge amount of time. I'm liking it though. Possibility of climbing the ladder some more in a few months. I'm viewing this as my try out for the new job.
But I'm not complaining at all, I'm actually ready for it, & enjoying it.
But the down side is I have less time for browsing the internet.

Re: Checking In
I know how that is. I'm so swamped at work, it's making me nutz. Seems I can only get online for a few minutes during the day and that ain't long enough to be able to mod the site, let alone, well, something else that ain't pretty.dm1400 wrote:Got a new position at work. Re: Checking In
Most times, advance notice isn't possible unless it's a scheduled trip or something. When someone just vanishes for reasons unexplained, we can only hope they eventually they will return. I miss Braids!98VS1400 wrote:Just knowing you haven't abandoned us for a board of a different color makes me very happy. I've grown used to seeing your insightful posts on a daily basis. Don't let your wife find out about that shoulder thing. Wars have started over such things!98VS1400 wrote:I get a #1 fade with a short scissor cut on top. Best part is the hot shave with a straight razor! Sometimes, when my barber is feeling especially kind, she gives me a shoulder massage. All for $10. Can't beat it!

I miss Braids also. It seems during the post card deal someone said or sent something not appropriate for that. She was definitely a one of a kind lady. Maybe she needs to be asked to come over here? I know I would welcome her insight into the worlds going on and daily happenings. :big grin:
